Vacuum fine....horrible rigid/stiff cord

Reviewer: Corey, Wisconsin

The vac itself is great. Great pickup, bagless canister works/empties well.

It has the most stiff/rigid cord I can recall having on an indoor appliance. It's difficult to work with while vacuuming. You have to take extra special care that the cord doesn't kink because you'll be vacuuming away (I use it for the stairs and the area near the litter box - in my den) and pull the cord out of the wall. It doesn't coil nicely onto the machine itself either.

I give the vac an A+, but the cord gets an F. I would not recommend this product for regular use.

It has good pick up power on hard surfaces and on flat carpet.

However, the wheels are low and flimsy - which requires quite of bit of hand/arm strength even for flat carpet (though it moves well on hard surfaces).

And there is NO foot lever from upright to tilt position - which added to the flimsy wheels, it can't make over even the smallest of throw rugs, or over the lip between rooms, because it wants to be in tilted position as soon as you move it and the wheels are too low and flimsy to provide any leverage to get over anything. It is frustrating that it tilts so easily that you can't have it in upright position to move it more easily (due to the wheels) from one room to the other - this vacuum unfortunately is not one that I would want for daily use on my low carpets; though works well, and has good pick up power, on bare floors.

I had bought it because I have hand problems and I was looking for something light to use daily for my large home due to several pets.

Edited - 1 star only:

The filter is at the top, which has to be taken out each time to dump the canister, and everything goes to the top attaching itself around the filter, so it all comes out everywhere as you try to get the filter out to dump the canister.
